Boeing 747 Kalitta Air Keychain
Our manager will contact you upon purchase and send you photos of keychains to choose from.
This Aviationtag is made from genuine Boeing 747-246F(SCD) skin with factory number MSN 22989 — an aircraft that was a freighter from the very beginning. It made its first flight on October 7, 1982, and in December of the same year was transferred to Japan Airlines, where it became part of the iconic JAL Super Logistics cargo fleet and bore the same livery for some time.
The design of this 747 was tailored exclusively for the transport of large cargo. The nose ramp allowed for direct loading, and the SCD configuration with side cargo doors made the aircraft a versatile tool for global logistics. It was these solutions that cemented the Boeing 747's status as the true Queen of the Skies in the cargo segment.
In November 2008, the aircraft was transferred to Kalitta Air and registered as N746CK, continuing its intensive operation in the United States. Since August 2015, the aircraft has been stored in Oscoda, Michigan. Over the years of storage in changing weather conditions, the paint has undergone natural wear and tear - chips, scuffs, and peeling are possible, especially on dark areas. All this is part of the aircraft's genuine patina and is not a defect.
Note: Each tag is unique. They differ in feel, material thickness, and color. Small irregularities reflect many years spent in the air. Minor scratches, paint chips, and irregularities are completely normal and give Aviationtag a special charm—the charm of a vintage product. These features are not the result of the manufacturing process, but reflect the condition of the materials used in the aircraft!
