- airports in Ukraine in the 80s and at the turn of the 90s (1981-1991);
- airports in independent Ukraine (1991-2006);
- the current state of civil aviation and airports in Ukraine;
- a look into the future of airports. 

The appendices contain copies of documents on the establishment, development and operation of civil aviation and airports in Ukraine. The main chronological dates and events in the history of civil aviation are presented separately. 

The book is based on extensive archival material, some of which is published for the first time. It is well illustrated with archival documents and photographs.
