Woodcomp blades
USE ONLY FOR DECORATIVE PURPOSES!
Aircraft propeller blades manufactured by Woodcomp (Czech Republic), a well-known manufacturer of propellers for light and ultralight aircraft. The blades have minor scratches and chips typical of dismantled components after long service, but retain their excellent appearance. This is not only a collector's set, but also an authentic element of interior decor with an aviation soul. Each blade has its own flight history and differs in shape, color, profile, and type of attachment. There are four types of blades:
- White composite with a classic profile, designed for two-bladed propellers with adjustable pitch on the ground. Based on its characteristics (white composite, classic shape), this blade corresponds to the Klassic series or early SR models (e.g., SR-116) from Woodcomp. The Klassic series includes composite propellers with a diameter of ~1500–1700 mm for Rotax, Subaru, and VW engines.
- White with a yellow marking tip and metal flange, optimized for powerful ultralights and experimental aircraft. Belongs to the Klassic W series (wide-profile version) or compatible with SR-200 / SR-3000 propeller models in a 2-blade configuration. In particular, Woodcomp produced a two-blade electrically adjustable SR3000.2W propeller with a diameter of ~1750 mm for the Rotax 912. The white blade with a yellow tip matches Woodcomp's style for such propellers, so this blade could be part of the Klassic 170 series or even the SR3000 variable pitch (two-blade).
- Carbon black with a narrow profile, designed for multi-blade propellers with increased efficiency and low noise. Given its carbon-plastic construction and relatively narrow profile, this blade is similar to Woodcomp's Winglet or Speedy series. It belonged to Woodcomp's three-bladed propeller (e.g., Winglet 165/3 or Klassic/Speedy 160/3 in the carbon version), which provides optimum thrust and speed.
- Black with a yellow tip and a massive metal bushing, used in variable pitch propellers for in-flight adjustment. Most likely, this blade comes from the SR-2000 or SR-3000 series of Woodcomp electrically adjustable propellers. In particular, the SR-2000DN model is a three-bladed or two-bladed variable pitch (electrically driven) propeller of mixed design. These propellers were produced in black with yellow tips for installation on WT-9 Dynamic, Bristell, and other aircraft.
