This aviation tag was created from the real fuselage of a Boeing 747-400ER aircraft with the tail number VH-OEG - one of only six examples of the ER series, specially made for the national airline of Australia, Qantas. Its name - “Parkes” - refers to a city in New South Wales, and the aircraft itself has become a symbol of Australian intercontinental travel.
From 2002 to 2020, this “Queen of the Skies” soared over the oceans, carrying thousands of passengers on long-haul routes that, thanks to the ER version, became even longer - 800 km further or with an additional 6.8 tons of payload. After completing its career in the Mojave Desert, the aircraft was given a new life - in the form of a limited edition Aviationtag.
