It was the second of six aircraft involved in the B-2 test program and made its first flight on October 19, 1990. After the test program concluded in 1997, these aircraft, including the Spirit of Arizona, were brought up to full operational standard and transferred to the 509th Bomb Wing at Whiteman Air Force Base in Missouri. 573795
As indicated on the box, the model represents an aircraft from the 393rd Bombardment Squadron Tigers, part of the 509th Bomb Wing. The aircraft’s name is dedicated to Arizona, while the unit is based at Whiteman in Missouri.
