Embraer EMB-190 KLM Cityhopper PH-KLM 1:100 Scale Model
The Embraer EMB-190 is a Brazilian regional jet from the E-Jets family that has become an important part of the KLM Cityhopper fleet. This carrier operates European flights for KLM, connecting cities to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport. For many passengers, a flight on this aircraft is the first leg of a long international journey.
The first E190s joined KLM Cityhopper in 2008 as part of a fleet modernization program and the gradual replacement of Fokker aircraft. The Brazilian airliners became part of the carrier’s new generation of regional aircraft. They were used to expand the route network and provide service to European cities where the capacity of larger aircraft would have been excessive.
The 1:100 scale model bears the registration PH-KLM. It would be a fitting addition to a themed collection of Embraer aircraft, a Dutch aviation collection, or a display featuring European carriers. It also makes a great gift for a pilot, aviation enthusiast, or traveler for whom KLM’s blue planes evoke memories of Amsterdam and travel.
