This keychain was made from the wing of a crashed KAB bomb that missed its target. Proceeds from the sale, not including commissions and taxes, go to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The KA-52 tag is from a helicopter with tail number RF-13428, military designation 89 Red! There were few reports of its crash, although the wreckage was found on the outskirts of Liptsy, Kharkiv region of Ukraine. The helicopter was participating in combat operations in the Kharkiv region and was shot down 11 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. It remains unclear what happened to its crew, but seeing the state of the wreckage, they must have vaporized in the intense fire, meeting their deserved fate!
The wreckage of this aircraft was found during the liberation of Ukrainian territory near Lyman. Thanks to the parts of the aircraft with the registration number, it was possible to identify the type of aircraft.
A Russian Mi-28 was shot down by our guys from the 92nd Mechanized Brigade. The helicopter was shot down in the Kharkiv region on May 9, 2022.
